World War has already begun in Ukraine: as China, Iran and Korea help the Russian Federation

These are most Western democracies, headed by the United States. The problem is that of all these participants, only autocracy behaves as if the war as it is: global. If this does not change, Ukraine will be in a disadvantage. If - and when - the situation changes, Russia may be defeated with long -term consequences. Defeat that could give other autocrats a lesson or two.

Perhaps for the abstract population of rich and free countries will be the comfort of thinking about the war in Ukraine as a regional war. Just a little war. But this has never been. It has never been from the first days of the war in early 2022, when the Alliance of Free countries quickly united to provide Ukraine with intelligence, weapons and money needed to protect and preserve itself, while Russian regiments rolled across the border. And then Russia mobilized its allies.

The first is Iran, who put Russia the first effective design of Dron-Kamikadze "Shahaned", since the fall of 2022. Every 400-fuel drone transports a 100-funtain warhead for a distance of 1500 miles-and does it cheap, just $ 50,000 apiece. First, buying a chewing and then starting to do them under a factory in Tatarstan, the Russians received an inexpensive ammunition of deep damage: what they had not had before.

Only this March alone, according to the President of Ukraine Zelensky, the Russians attacked Ukraine 600 "Shahaneda". "This Terror campaign affects numerous cities and villages throughout Ukraine," the Ukrainian Center for Defense Strategies said. Then, at the end of last year, North Korea undertook one of Russia's most serious problems: lack of artillery shells.

In the first weeks of the war, Russian batteries produced tens of thousands of shells a day - the shooting rate was steadily declining as the war was delayed and the ammunition reserves ended. By mid -2023, the Ukrainian forces actually had an advantage in fire power over Russian for one simple reason. "The event gave Ukraine more artillery ammunition than Russia received from its partners," the Froneteligence Insight Ukrainian analytical group reports. In January 2024, the situation changed.

Moscow has concluded an agreement with Pyongyang on the exchange of Russian food for millions of North Korean shells. At the same time, pro -Russian Republicans in the US Congress blocked further assistance to the United States, depriving Ukrainians of hundreds of thousands of American shells. "Russia is now getting more shells than the West sends to Ukraine, thanks to the continuous supply of ammunition from North Korea, which went in the fall of 2023 in the fall," Froneteligence explained.

Meanwhile, China took steps to restore the Russian military industry, which suffered from foreign sanctions that have deprived its microelectronics and precise tools. The microelectronics needed for the production of drones and rockets and the tools that are needed for the production of new trunks for howitzers. This week, US Presidential Administration Joe Baiden reported the Associated Press that China provides 90 percent of Russian imports of microelectronics and 70 percent of tool imports.

If during the Second World War the United States was arsenal of democracy of the United Kingdom, today Iran, North Korea and China are arsenals of Russia's autocracy. Russia cannot win in Ukraine without allies from all over the world - just as Ukraine cannot win without its own allies on several continents. Yes, real fighting continues in Ukraine and in Russia, at the same time Iran is also involved against Israel, both through proxy and now directly. But the conflict is global.

The ponds are also global. "Russia does not intend to stay in Ukraine," said US Army General Christopher Cavoli, US European Command Commander, and NATO Supreme Commander in Europe. "Russia is a chronic threat. " Cavoli said he was also concerned about Russia's dependence on China, North Korea and Iran. "These countries form an interconnected strategic partnership in an attempt to challenge the available order," said Cavoli. "This is deeply contrary to the US national interests.

" And the interests of the whole free world. The most powerful autocracy in the world is already in war in Ukraine as a world. They support Russia to assert the power of countries such as it, to attack, conquer and oppress when and where they want. This idea is now spreading.

Will the most influential democratic countries in the world be able to respond with equal power - and support Ukraine to defend the right of countries such as Ukraine, to choose their fate and live in peace? The answer for leading democracy - the United States - is a kind of warning. Republicans have blocked assistance to Ukraine since October and defend their isolationism, partly in mistaken that the war in Ukraine concerns Ukraine. And that this is not America.
