Prepare for "meat storms": the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation plan a new attack on Avdiivka - ISW

According to American analysts, Russian invaders seek to compensate for the great losses of equipment incurred under Avdiivka. The armed forces of the Russian Federation are likely to be prepared for another wave of land attacks on the position of defense forces of Ukraine in the Avdiivka area. This is stated in the report of the Institute of War Study (ISW) of November 1.

Analysts indicated that the Kremlin -related Russian blogger declared a significant slowdown in the RF attacks of the Armed Forces north and south of Avdiivka. According to him, in the area, Russian troops are actively striking in Ukrainian leading positions and nearby rear positions.

"The Russian forces may be conducting a campaign for the interception of Ukrainian objects in the Avdiivka area, but this strong fire is most likely to be air and artillery preparation for the battlefield before a new wave of Russian attacks," the report reads. According to the authors of the report, several more Russian military bloggers consider the current actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "preparatory support" for possible future attacks.

In addition, the spokesman for the Tavriysky Defense Force Alexander Planon warned that Russian invaders are preparing for "meat attacks" in the Avdiivka area and conducting training for the storm units "Storm-C". American analysts believe that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation intends to move to the frontal attacks under the guidance of infantry after artillery training to compensate for the heavy losses of equipment near Avdiivka in October.

Recall that according to ISW dated October 31, Russian troops continue to pursue their main purpose - the capture of the remaining part of the Luhansk region and the promotion to Kharkiv and Donetsk from the east and north, respectively. In an interview with November 1, military expert Sergey Grabsky stated that the Russian Federation has enough strength and resources for defense, but not for the offensive.
