"On August 2, 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a high-precision strike on Russian military sites in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region. As a result of surgery, the anti-aircraft missile complex C-300 of the Russian Occupation Troops was destroyed by means of long-firing fire," the statement said.
It is noted that the destruction of this installation has significantly reduced the enemy's firing capacity over long distances and its ability to fire the position of defense forces of Ukraine and the civilian infrastructure of the region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized that this blow shows the efficiency of the Ukrainian units to identify and destroy critically important enemy objects, including in temporarily occupied territories.
It should be reminded that on July 4, the Ukrainian defense forces struck the fuel infrastructure of the airport in Sochi, which caused a large -scale fire. The operation was part of the measures to reduce the military potential of the Russian Federation. On the night of August 3, drones attacked the oil depot in the Russian city of Sochi, resulting in a large-scale fire broke out on July 22, Russian invaders in the Belgorod region lost the C-400 anti-aircraft missile system.
