"We do not recognize the election free": The US State Department called Putin President of the Russian Federation (video)

The United States will not send a representative to the so -called inauguration of the Russian President, which will take place on May 7. The United States recognizes the head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin by the President of Russia. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the State Department Matthew Miller. He stressed that the US authorities did not consider the elections in the Russian Federation free and honest.

According to Miller, Putin is the President of Russia, and in the future intends to occupy this position. "Of course, we do not recognize this election as free and honest, but he is the President of Russia and is going to continue to be it," Miller said. Putin's inauguration will not be sent their representative. The ceremony will take place on May 7. The representative of the State Department also commented on Russian nuclear rhetoric. Matthew Miller called statements reckless and irresponsible.

The US does not see any reason to adjust their nuclear position in response to these statements, as well as the signs that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine. On May 6, Putin instructed to test non -patient nuclear weapons in the Russian Federation. In Russia, it is planned to conduct military exercises to develop skills in the use of non -patient nuclear weapons.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia noted that military exercises are aimed at maintaining the readiness of personnel for combat use of weapons of mass destruction in order to answer "provocative statements and threats of" individual Western politicians. It is noted that the training is planned to practice the preparation and use of non -strategic nuclear weapons. Recall that on May 6, the Russian Federation officially threatened to hit the military objects of Britain.
