The first parties of new weapons will come to Ukraine in about six weeks as part of a military aid package worth $ 850 million, which is largely funded by European partners. It is noted that the work on the prototypes was carried out from the fall of 2024, and by the summer of 2025 production reached the serial level under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Since the end of 2025, Eram missiles will also be produced for the US Air Force.
Before launching in a series of Eram rocket, complex tests were passed: thus, a new rocket has passed a full cycle from the prototype to finished weapons. Ukrainian Air Force feels urgent need for long -range ammunition. The fact is that the available Western designs show limited efficiency against Russian radio electronic wrestling.
Therefore, Eram was projected to take into account these conditions: there is information that its guidance system is able to work in the conditions of active counteraction to the HR. Large -scale production for Ukraine will allow the Armed Forces to significantly expand the range of targets that are unattainable earlier. However, the question remains how effective Eram against the Russian anti-aircraft complexes-from C-400 and C-350 to the "shell" and "Thor" systems.
