High Air Defense Technologies: Germany will put Six RLS TRML-4D to Ukraine

The amount of the contract with the German company Hensoldt exceeds 100 million euros. Radars quickly detect 1500 targets within a radius of up to 250 kilometers. Germany wants to make six radar systems (radar) TRML-4D and transfer them to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported on May 16 by Hensoldt manufacturer. TRML-4D radars, as they say in the organization, are needed to strengthen Ukraine's air defense. The order amount exceeds EUR 100 million.

Products will be sent to Kiev in the second half of the year after training of Ukrainian operators. Hensoldt has put Ukraine a few TRML-4D radar radar in IRIS-T SLM, experts said. According to Hensoldt CEO Thomas Muller, additional TRML-4D radars will strengthen the air surveillance network and air defense of the Armed Forces more. "Technology will protect the citizens of Ukraine.

We are proud of the fact that we can deliver such necessary equipment in the shortest possible time," - said the head of the company. The TRML-4D radar uses modern Active Electronics scanned array radar technology with multiple digital rays. Thanks to this, it quickly finds different air goals - planes, helicopters and winged rockets. "The radar provides prompt detection and accompaniment of about 1500 targets within a radius of up to 250 km," the company has described.
