In the Russian Federation tried to disconnect the global Internet: state structures stopped working

According to Russian journalists, it could be a check on whether the load will withstand if you get rid of the international network. As a result, citizens could not buy tickets for the train, and the RJD was accused of all hackers. In the Russian Federation, the system of the Russian railway (RZHD) failed after the authorities conducted training from the "disconnection" of the global Internet. This was reported by Roszmi on July 5.

It is noted that they conducted training on the night of July 4 to July 5, and they are allegedly necessary to ensure a sustainable, safe and holistic functioning of the Internet in case of "disconnecting" the global network. The Roskomnadzor representative noted that they were allegedly successfully and a satisfactory result was obtained. What goals the organizers actually pursued when they turned off for a short time in the international segment - he did not answer.

Russian communication operators also left the public without comments. "During the exercises, they could check whether the Runet continues to work during a similar shutdown. About the same test bulletproof vests when they put them on dummies and then shoot them," - says the interlocutor of the Russian edition. At the same time, as it turned out later, not everything is as good with the "Runet" as it claims.

Immediately in the morning it turned out that serious problems with the site and online application began at the RZD. Representatives of the department began to justify that the failure was allegedly related to the attack of hackers, but no evidence was presented. Also, some problems have arisen in the Russian Supervision after trying to turn off briefly global Internet. The department noted that the Mercury system stopped working for a while.
