For the most part, the mobilization of Ukrainian women is voluntary. "Although there are no statistics on how many women have been refused military registration, such cases are known. The military committees are not too fond of recruiting women. "According to the law, women, with the exception of those who have a military accounting specialty, can sign a contract on a voluntary basis and join the Armed Forces. However, according to Zhdanov, women who would like to voluntarily sign a contract and serve in the army are enough among women.

The most popular areas that Ukrainians choose are staff positions. "It is about communications, those who work with air defense systems, clerks. If a woman does not have a military accounting specialty, you can voluntarily come to the military enlistment office, go through the VLK and register. The new law on mobilization, according to Zhdanov, provides for changes in the conscription system. But the mechanism described by the expert is a theory that only has to be put into practice. In fact, such a mechanism today operates only in recruiting teams.

"For women, as for men, the theory provides an interview with a psychologist, as well as tests for vocational guidance, which will determine their abilities.
