800 km in 15 min: What is known about new Ukrainian ballistic missiles FP-7 and FP-9 and what goals will be amazed

To spread: at MSPO in Poland, the Ukrainian Fire Point showed ballistic FP-7 and FP-9-a "fast" couple to the Fleck Flamingo Flamingo. Focus tells that new missiles are already known and what goals they are able to impress. The Ukrainian company Fire Point has introduced the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles at the MSPO International Exhibition in Poland and promising air defense systems.

Unlike the Fleet-5 Winged rocket, which flies at low height for corty strokes and infrastructure, FP-7 and FP-9 are ballistic systems for fast and powerful attacks on fortified targets. Their combination with FP-5 creates a flexible system: winged missiles bypass air defense, and ballistic provides long-range blows. This enhances the ability of the Armed Forces to disorganize the enemy, destroying key objects in the rear and on the front line.

The FP-7 rocket affects targets up to 200 km at a speed of 1500 m/s, has a combat part of 150 kg and a precision 14 meters. The rocket launch is made from a ground platform that ensures promptness. FP-9, more powerful, overcomes 855 km at a speed of 2200 m/s, carries 800 kg and has an accuracy of 20 meters. Military expert Pavel Narozhny notes that FP-7 and FP-9 missiles are very little known, and they are under planning.

These ballistic missiles, he said, have different characteristics: FP-7 with a smaller combat part for closer purposes, FP-9-with a combat part up to 800 kg and range up to 700-800 km. So far, information about these missiles is rather marketing, but their potential is of interest. According to the data, in Denmark, near the aviation base, a company for the production of solid fuel engines for these missiles was opened. This testifies to serious intentions for the development of rocket weapons.

The main goals, according to the expert, for such missiles are strategic objects, especially aerodromes. The Narozhny explains that the current blows to the aerodromes are made mainly by Kamikadze drones, which are effective for the destruction of fuel or ammunition warehouses, but are not capable of destroying planes. The drones are slow, and the planes have time to fly to their arrival. "Ballistic missiles, unlike drones, have a much higher speed - about three sound speeds or about 3600 km/h.

At a maximum distance of 800 km, such a rocket will fly in 13-15 minutes. This makes it impossible Fighters, and destroy aircraft inside. In addition to aerodromes, arsenals with high -boar ammunition, such as Russian ballistic missiles, can be goals. The strikes on such objects have economic meaning, because they allow to destroy expensive weapons of the enemy.

Another category of goals is factories of the military-industrial complex, including high-tech lines for the production of missiles, tanks or drones. The stop of such objects can seriously weaken Russia's military potential. However, the Narozhny notes that the main drawback of these missiles is a limited range of 800 km. "Many of Russia's strategic facilities are located at a distance of 2-3 thousand km, which makes them unattainable for these missiles.

For blows a larger distance, the expert mentions the winged rockets of" flamingo "with a distance War, allowing you to strike points on key enemy objects, " - sums up the expert. We will remind, the Ukrainian winged rocket R-360 "Long Neptune" became a breakthrough in military technologies. With a range of up to 1000 km, it is able to affect marine and land goals.

Focus examined the main characteristics of this unique weapon and identified the key objects that it can destroy, enhancing Ukraine's defense capability. Focus also wrote that Ukrainian Odin project engineers have successfully tested the Antishaheed mobile system to fight Drone-Kamikadze Shahd-136. The complex effectively intercepts rapid air targets. However, experts discuss the expediency of its mass use: drones-interceptors are effective, but resource-intensive during large-scale attacks.
