Erdogan stressed that during the discussion he was looking for possible ways to end the war in Ukraine. "We are in favor of a gradual increase in the level of negotiations to turn hopes into real results," the Turkish President said.
He noted that in the end, any agreement should be discussed directly between the leaders, but there are no proper conditions for this purpose. Turkey has been trying to store open communication channels with Moscow and Kiev since the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia in 2022.
