The Armed Forces will develop on the scenario of Kherson operation - expert

Colonel Petro Chernyk noted that in Ukrainian society there are some false narratives that this year's operation should be lightning like Kharkiv. However, one should take into account - the enemy has made conclusions. The counter -offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023 will develop according to the scenario of the Kherson operation, which Ukrainian fighters conducted last fall. However, the offensive actions of Ukrainian defenders should not be expected.

This opinion was expressed on July 4 by a military analyst Colonel Petro Chernik during an online briefing at Military Media Center. The expert explained that any classic offensive military operation has four stages: beginning, development of success, consolidation of success and completion. At this stage, the Armed Forces are in the second stage and develop success, especially at the Southern Front of Ukraine.

Chernik stressed that in Ukrainian society there was a misconception that the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces in 2023 would be similar to the Kharkiv operation in September last year. However, during this time, the enemy made some conclusions and drawn up the so -called "Surovikin line" - a classic echelorated line of defense under all the rules of military science, the expert said. "We remember the most important rule of this war - the unconscious.

Human potentials between us and the enemy are unmistakable. " Zhukovshchyna "is unacceptable to us," Chernik said. The expert is convinced that the current counter -offensive has all the features of the Kherson operation, which lasted more than three months. "Three months of very hard work. The logistics loop has fully justified itself. What does it mean? The constant destruction of ammunition, fuel and lubricants and, especially, artillery.
