The Armed Forces began to knock down the "Mavika" drones with "reticles": how they work (video)

According to the developers, the "meters" made it possible to minimize the cost of one interception of a hostile drone up to 1200 UAH. The Defense Forces of Ukraine use drones from Ptashka Drones, equipped with "reticulars" to intercept enemy quadcopters, including "Mavicians". The corresponding video was posted in the manufacturer's Telegram. Judging by the frame, the "retina" is a device that is attached to the drone, and when approaching the enemy UAV shoots a grid for its interception.

The shooting mesh entangles the switches of the drone engines, which is why it loses the ability to fly. This unit weighs only 373 grams. The "reticulum" can be installed on mavic, Autel or FPV drones. The mechanism is reusable and only requires replacement of cartridges with a grid. According to the developers, the repeated use of such UAVs-interceptors made it possible to minimize the cost of one interception to 1200 UAH-the cost of one cartridge.

The manufacturer's channel also mentions the development of an infantry single-charged pistol-interceptor against FPV-oules, which is based on similar technology. It is in the final stages of development and is tested, after which it will be transmitted for trial applications to the military. "The structure is collected, it is ready for scaling. Works without scenes. It remains to increase the shot range.

It's more difficult than it seems because we are limited by the technical capabilities , - the developers said. We will remind, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also use quadcopters equipped with "reticles", in particular the apparatus "Taiga", "Tarantul" and "Osoed". According to the Russians, the retina is an effective and cheap remedy against the drones of Baba Yaga and UAV reconnaissance, but there are several nuances.
