"We are on the way": Boeing told when Ukraine receives Glsdb missiles

The Pentagon claims that delayed supply to Ukraine controlled GLSDB bombs is related to the problems of development and production. The Boeing/SAAB team is preparing to transfer the first batch of small -diameter land bombs (GLSDB) of Ukraine's defense forces. Global Defense writes about it with reference to Boeing Jim Lira's Business Director. "We are on the way to fulfilling the tasks set by the government," Lira said. Ukraine is expected to receive Glsdb bombs this winter.

Earlier, US Deputy Defense Assistant Laura Cooper explained that delayed supply was related to the problems of development and production. Small -sized high -precision Glsdb ammunition is a joint development of the American company Boeing and Swedish SAAB. The rocket contains a small diameter of GBU-39 (SDB) with a missile engine from the M26 jet engine. GLSDB can strike up to 150 kilometers.

The weapon uses a satellite positioning system (GPS) and an inertial navigation system to bring to the target. The cost of GLSDB is about $ 40,000. Recall that on February 1, the media appeared that the United States is preparing a new military aid package worth more than $ 2 billion, which may contain small landscapes of land diameter (GLSDB).
