Akhmetov's Shakhtar has paid more than UAH 1.87 billion in taxes since the beginning of the war

This is an effective and transparent transfer policy that allows us to develop the club and at the same time support the state," Palkin emphasized.

Separately, he mentioned the club's social responsibility. According to him, only in 2024, the total amount of Shakhtar's charitable projects implemented amounted to UAH 32 million, and the businesses of club president Rinat Akhmetov donated UAH 12. 8 billion to charity since the beginning of the war.
