Drone attacks paralyzed the refinery: in Russia a record fuel crisis - the media

To spread: In Russia, the fuel crisis caused by large -scale attacks of Ukrainian drones on oil refineries is being opened. In September, almost 38% of primary oil processing capacities were idle - about 388 thousand tons of raw materials per day. Such a collapse has become a record throughout the recent history of the Russian Federation and exceeded the figures of August (23%) and May 2022 and 2020. About it reports the edition of The Moscow Times. About 70% of stops are related to drones.

At the end of September, the attacks of drones actually disrupted a quarter of Russian oil refining, which is equivalent to 236 thousand tons a day. The situation was worsened by the closure of four more refineries, among which is the second most powerful plant "Kinef" in the Leningrad region and the large Ryazan refinery of Rosneft. As a result, gasoline release in September decreased by 1 million tons, and the fuel deficiency in the domestic market reached 20% of total consumption.
