Arahamia explained why he did not regret that negotiations with the Russian Federation in Istanbul stopped (video)

According to the head of the "Servant of the People" faction, there were many questions in Kiev, for which no security guarantees were received. The head of the parliamentary faction of "Servant of the People" David Arahamia stated that he did not regret the completion of negotiations on the end of the war with Russia in Istanbul in March 2022. He reported this in a comment to the correspondent of Nikvevest during Ukraine Recovery Conference.

According to Arahamia, which was part of the delegation representing the Ukrainian side in the negotiations, there were many issues in Kiev, for which no security guarantees were received. "No, I do not regret. There was such a situation that it was not important, given that there are many issues that could not be guaranteed. We will look further how it would work," Arahamia said.

We will remind, in May, Bild reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin did not sign as a result of negotiations in Istanbul. So, after Moscow's summit, she made demands that Kiev disagreed, writes the German edition. The Kremlin demanded to make Russian the second state in Ukraine, to abolish mutual sanctions and to end lawsuits in international courts.
