Estonia has announced new military assistance to Ukraine: will hand over weapons and teach the Armed Forces fighters

Estonia's Defense Minister Hanno, Makur, said that mortars and anti -tank remedies would be sent to Ukraine. However, he did not specify what models of weapons the Ukrainian military and their number will receive. "Ukraine is fighting for our common values, and if we still have weapons to send Ukrainians, we have to do it," the head of the department said. In addition, Hanno Makur said that Estonia would begin to teach the Ukrainian military at the request of Kiev.

According to him, the training will be reservists. "In the field exercises, the undisputed trump card of Estonia's defense forces is to prepare reservists for the intense and ordinary war against the enemy that prevails, that is, the war that Ukraine is now leading," said Estonia's Defense Minister. In addition to the weapons and training of the Armed Forces fighters, Estonia will be handed over to Ukrainian military doctors by the second field hospital in cooperation with Germany.

Journalists say that in general, Estonia provided military assistance to Ukraine for almost 250 million euros. These are missiles of anti -tank missile complex Javelin, howitzers, anti -tank mines, anti -tank grenade launchers, mortars, various manual firearms with ammunition, vehicles, communications, medical supplies, personal protective equipment, such as helmets and bulletproof vests, as well as packages.
