According to the National Police Communication Department, a Ukrainian developer of one of the largest hacker forums in the world has been detained in Kiev as a result of international special operations in Kiev. This resource, which has worked for more than 10 years, has become a platform for cyberattack coordination, spy software and databases. The online forum used by malefactors from different countries has actually been the Cybercrime Marketplace.

They sold programs, exchanged attacks for attacks, and organized cyberattacks for government agencies and infrastructure facilities in France, USA and other EU countries. According to investigators, the income of the administrator of this resource could reach $ 7 million. In France, the consequences of the forum's activities have become especially noticeable - more than 100 organizations have been cyberattack.

According to investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police, the 37-year-old Ukrainian living in Kiev was the administrator of the platform. He developed a site, provided its technical support and provided infrastructure for other hackers, receiving a share of profit. According to official data, the man did not work anywhere and had no criminal record.

The operation in Ukraine was conducted with the participation of employees of the National Police, the SBU, French police and Europol. In the framework of investigative actions, sanctioned searches were conducted in the apartment of the suspect. Computers, mobile devices and wireless networks have been removed.
