For the first time, information about the intention to install Arena-M complex on the latest Russian tanks appeared in 2020, in fact, at the stage of state tests of T-90m. According to the Western Operators, the Arena-M Kaz has the following improved capabilities compared to previous decisions, namely: despite the advanced characteristics, the system has potential vulnerability.
Yes, rockets with tandem combat units can overcome protection at the expense of double charge, and modern ammunition with attacks from above remain a difficult goal for Kaz. In addition, the efficiency of "Arena-M" can be reduced under the influence of radio electronic struggle. In this regard, Russian engineers consider the integration of the complex with multi -spectral sensors and more powerful interceptors.
