They want to coordinate with "devastated" US sanctions: the EU prepares the 17th Package of Sanctions Against Russia-the media

To spread: the European Union wants to agree with the United States of America the next package of its sanctions to coordinate it with "devastated" sanctions against the Kremlin - in particular tariffs by 500% for those countries that buy oil in Russia in particular. French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barro told this, the European Pravda reported on May 1. The official confirmed the news that Europe is working on the next, already 17th by account, a package of sanctions against Russia.

This time, European leaders will coordinate it with the United States to coordinate new restrictions with those prepared in the US Senate. It should be noted that the "defective" sanctions in the American Senate were announced on May 1. They stated that they are working on a bill on new sanctions against the Kremlin, as well as on countries that continue to buy oil, gas and other basic goods and resources in Russia. These countries can set tariffs of 500%, as they found out in Bloomberg.

"We, Europeans, will accompany this American initiative with the 17th Package of Sanctions, and yesterday I promised Lindsey Graham that we will try to reconcile both the content and the timing of these two sanctions packages," said Jean-Noel Barro. Details on a new EU sanctions package against Russia did not disclose the official, as well as possible dates for its adoption.

Barro also stressed Barro during the conversation that the only obstacle to peace in Ukraine is Russian President Vladimir Putin. On April 29, the Presidential Commissioner for sanctions policy, Vladislav Vlasyuk, stated that it will be possible to find out the details of the 17th EU sanctions against Russia no earlier than the end of May. "Working on the seventeenth package is ongoing, but it will be possible to talk realistically about its adoption only at the end of May," Vlasyuk said.
