Ukrainian powerful Sky Destroyer drone shoots occupiers from a height: how will he do it

The developers promise exceptional accuracy due to their own technology to capture the goal and compensate for the return after shots. The Ukrainian Destroyer Oktocopter can be a small platform for small arms that can be driven remotely. One of its founders Roman in an interview with ITC. ua. High-loading drone with motors will weigh about 50-60 kg and will fly at an hour at a speed of up to 90 km/h.

Its main task is remotely, and safely for the operator and the platform itself to use a variety of small arms (machine guns, machines, machine guns, light grenade launchers), which is attached to the suspension. The platform is multifunctional and can deliver a variety of loads up to 10 kg. On the Brave Inventers platform, the project is designated as an "idea". Weapons will be highly likely, the novel says that it is practically guaranteed.

The weapon on the suspension will have moving guidance, aiming will happen automatically, with optics, and the video will be stabilized. In this way, Sky Destroyer will be able to kick moving objects. "If you shoot small arms, one person can spend 10 or more cartridges. Thanks to a powerful approximation in the camera you can see if you got into the enemy. According to calculations, Sky Destroyer will be able to keep a fairly accurate and corner shooting from a distance of about 300 meters.

I am not sure that even an experienced machine gunner will be able to give such results, " - says the developer about the small -scale capabilities of the platform Roman worked as a programmer, and now, in order to help victory, is a leading engineer from computer systems at a state -owned enterprise. The team also has a researcher at Lviv Polytechnic, a military special unit and a student of the Faculty of Cyber Security of LNU. The team is engaged in the project in their spare time.

Initially, the developers planned to use four engines, the experience of the military suggested that such large drones were not resistant to wind. To resist atmospheric movements, you need to have a powerful lifting force that can be given eight engines. The team has already developed a transmission of telemetry, a bypass of the EW and other details, for this purpose it was possible to find interesting solutions.

The most difficult point in the development of Roman considers compensation for the return of weapons. It should be stretched in time to stabilize UAV. But the team was able to calculate the necessary physical details and is now working on the recovery mechanism. When the enthusiasts created a ready -made project on paper, they moved to practical implementation. This needs funds, the developers have contacted the Brave Inventers platform.
