Ambassador of the Russian Federation to North Korea Alexander Matsegor told this during an exclusive interview for the Russian edition. The official spoke about "warm relations" between Russia and the DPRK, and shared the details of cooperation between the states. He added that the North Korean citizens are "brotherly" treated with Russians.
"A clear example of such a fraternal attitude is the rehabilitation of hundreds of wounded soldiers in Korean sanatoriums and hospitals," the Russian ambassador said. Matsegora also shared the details about how this happens. He claims that Russia seems to propose money for the treatment and rehabilitation of the wounded military, but they are "offended" and do not accept money, instead, medical and rehabilitation services are provided absolutely free of charge.
The official also added that not only the Russian military but also their children go to the DPRK. "Last summer, the best in the DPRK, the Center for Children's Recreation of the Sond Sea of Japanese took children whose parents were heroically died in the battles," Matsegora said. As for the number of military people who have already visited treatment and rehabilitation in the DPRK, the Russian ambassador does not name specific data. He only notes that there were already "hundreds".
