RF strike by energy: how the objects were protected and when there are two queues of disconnections - expert (video)

If Ukraine did not protect the energy infrastructure from the strikes of the Russian Federation, then the situation with light would be much worse, said energy expert Alexander Kharchenko. According to him, improvements after attacks on November 28-29 are expected in two days. Some Ukrainian substations are too large to protect all the equipment from drones and rockets of the Russian Federation.

In addition, cassette ammunition is scattered with the territory of the energy object and do not allow something to be repaired. When the work of damaged energy equipment is restored and whether there is a relief in Kiev, the director of the Energy Research Center Alexander Kharchenko told the TV channel "Kiev 24". Kharchenko explained why the last massive blow of the Russian Federation on energy was particularly difficult.

The expert recalled that the Russians attached cassette combat units to the missiles, which, after detonation or blasting, could fly away the territory of the object. In order for the repairers to be able to get to the equipment, it is necessary to first go through the sappers and remove the danger. According to him, until Sunday in Ukraine can return to two queues of shutdowns (that is, there will be no light up to eight hours).

"I think it will be softer before the weekend, for example, for example, or yesterday. There are regions where the situation is particularly difficult and where, objectively, time will take more time. But most of Ukraine should go out for two queues, "Kharchenko said. The energy expert has listed the regions of Ukraine, in which the situation is more complicated than others. According to him, it is Odesa and Mykolaiv in the south, Lutsk, Lviv, Ternopil in the west, as well as Kiev.

"It was quite difficult in Lutsk, but I hope that Lutsk will be quickly restored. As always, it is difficult to have Kiev because of the large capacities that are needed for Kiev and a large lack of generation," he added. In addition, the director of the Energy Research Center answered the journalist's questions to protect energy infrastructure - or not. Energy expert stated that the absence or presence of protection is evidenced by the presence or absence of light.

Since electricity supply, though with interruptions, but is, it means that some protection has managed to install. He also noted that "the substations themselves are very large and it is impossible to close all equipment. " "Let's be honest, if the protection did not work, we would not be able to talk to you now, just because of the lack of power on both sides," the energy expert stressed.

It should be noted that after the impact of the Russian Federation, which took place on the night of November 28, the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko announced the 11 massive rocket-morning attack of Russians on energy infrastructure. In a number of regions in the west of the country, in particular, in Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, military administrations reported damage to energy, disconnection of light and water.

Emergency shutdowns were introduced at Ukrenergo, but then canceled: according to the updated shutdown schedules, one of the queues in Kiev was to sit without light for 10 hours. According to the Air Force, in the morning and night the Russians launched 188 means of damage-"calibers", X-101, "Shahmed".
