It's amazing how often what you say doesn't match what people hear. In these situations, I always have a question: is it you who are so stupid that you can't get your point across, or the listeners. . . ? That's why I rarely write on FB, I often refuse broadcasts.
I really believe that the voluntary withdrawal of troops from Donbas "for the sake of peace" will be a legitimization of Russian aggression, a recognition that Donbas is the territory of the Russian Federation, and therefore, Ukraine loses its moral and legal right to its return in the future.
This cannot be allowed! At the same time, I am not in favor of the continuation of the war, - for some reason, some understood - but in favor of a bilateral cessation of hostilities as soon as possible, but on the front line, without the possibility for Putin to shout about the "liberation" of Russian territory and the end of the "SVO" with the victory of the Russian Federation. This is called a compromise peace, in our case, a truce.
I believe that sanctions are better than "Tomahawks" because they strategically weaken the Russian Federation, and our strategic task is not just to liberate the territories, keeping the threat from the east, but to weaken the Russian Federation so much that the territories conquered by it become a Pyrrhic victory for it. So that she would never be able to (even if she wanted to) fight with us. And, of course, the issue of equal rights for Ukrainians, regardless of their region of residence.
Those born in the South and East are not to blame for the fact that Ukraine in these regions is Russian-speaking. This is an objective fact, whether someone likes it or not. People did not choose their native language at birth. People are what their country is. And no one has the right to forbid citizens in their country to speak their native language. This is not even a question of language, but of equal rights of Ukrainians, unity of the nation.
Why can some use their native language everywhere, and others - only in the kitchen? As long as this situation persists, there will be no unity of the nation! Therefore, the state language is for the state, no one encroaches on its status, but everything that is not related to the institution of the state is the free right of every Ukrainian. And Putin is not using the fact that 40% of our citizens are Russian speakers. He uses the PROBLEM that some Ukrainians create from this fact.
