According to a representative of the Air Force, on the night of October 5 it was possible to intercept only 3 shock drones, and another 10 - locally lost. Colonel Yuriy Ignat, Head of Communications Department of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a comment on "Ukrainian Truth".

According to him, this type of drone often falls under the influence of Ukrainian remedies of radio electronic struggle. UAVs fall to the ground and do no harm. On the night of October 5, only 3 "Shahda" managed to intercept, and all the remaining drones in the amount of 10 pieces were locked in the southern and northern regions, which was reported in the construction of air.

Yuri Ignat noted that it was likely that it could be UAVs of other types, the identification of which, during detection, is carried out by experts on Earth. On radars, defenders only see a point that indicates an unknown object in the airspace. Its type becomes known after "landing".

"Local lost - a term that has been used by air forces for a long time in the morning reports, means that the goal accompanied by the Armed Forces - shock or intelligence UAVs of the enemy disappear from radars, which in turn means that they or The supply of fuel was exhausted, or they fell under the influence of the means of defense forces, " - said Yuri Ignat.

Also in the Air Force noted that there were repeated cases where hostile air objects returned back to the territory of Russia or flew to Belarus. The enemy tries to use as much air attack as possible to overload Ukraine's air defense.
