Iran created a unique sample antironous rocket under the 359 (video)

The new development technology was introduced into the new development, which provides automatic search, recognition and target without the need to participate the operator. In Iran, a public demonstration of a new anti -aircraft missile "359" was conducted, which is an advanced version of the previously known "358". The corresponding video was posted on social networks on January 16.

The new development is focused solely on the interception of unmanned aerial vehicles and combines advanced technologies, preserving the effective solutions of the previous model. In the published footage you can see the rocket close up, as well as interviews with one of the developers, which partially revealed the specifications.

It is known that the 359 missile has the following opportunities: one of the key innovations has been the introduction of modern machine vision algorithms, which provide automatic search, recognition and aiming on the target without the need to participate the operator. According to the developers, this decision significantly increased the efficiency and accuracy of the system.

As noted by Defense Express observers, the previous version of "358" missile has proven itself as an effective means of combating intelligence drones such as RQ-1 Predator, RQ-9 REAPER and HERMES 900. She used a non-standard technical solution The engine was used turbouoable. After launching, the rocket could be laid in a given area, following the complex trajectory of "Eight" until the operator put it on the target.

However, in "359" this process was automated through the use of advanced sensors and processors. Outwardly, the new rocket exceeds the previous size. Having preserved the conceptual scheme of "duck" with front solid rotary steering surfaces, the rocket was equipped with new rear x-shaped wings-this solution improved aerodynamics and controllability. As a result, 359 is reminiscent of the Soviet Air-Air missile R-27.

Viewers say that Iranian engineers have abandoned laser or optical sensors to activate the combat part, which is probably due to the simplification of the structure. However, the integration of advanced technologies allows the rocket to automatically search and go to the target without the operator's participation.

"At the same time, if we remove the" plaque "of modern digital technologies, we will get the same television or thermal imaging head of self -introduction, but on a modern elemental base and advanced algorithms," - summed up analysts. Recall that in January, Iran presented his latest development - the mobile anti -aircraft missile system Tondar.
