Ukraine uses three times less projectiles per day than the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - Washington Post

According to the anonymous Ukrainian source, the Armed Forces is selected more carefully so as not to waste the shells. At the same time, there are many signs that the ammunition also end in the occupiers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine consume three times less projectiles than the army of Russian invaders. This was reported by Washington Post on Saturday, April 8.

According to the source, Ukrainian defenders began to undergo a shortage of projectiles of Soviet models and are therefore forced to move to savings. But at the same time, the enemy in the person of the Russian army also noted a lack of ammunition. Anonymous Ukrainian official noted that on the day of the Armed Forces, they are produced if about 7700 shells are saved, that is, one every six seconds. The Russian side, whose opportunities are also on the borders, releases three times more.

In addition, according to the newspaper, the Ukrainian military is more careful to choose the goal so as not to spend scarce shells in vain. In addition, they prefer technique rather than small infantry groups. The Ukrainian military is forced to rely on the artillery provided by Western partners, as shells of 155 mm caliber are used, which in Ukraine are much more than the Soviet ones, but they can be used in fewer tools.

Western countries are making every effort to increase production, because, as NATO's Secretary General noted, "the current rates of ammunition by Ukraine are many times higher than our current production rates. " By the way, the lack of ammunition by the Russian Federation is also evidenced by their steps on the battlefield, as well as reports of Russian military bloggers on social networks with complaints.
