Due to bad weather and shelling of 8 areas without light: where is the situation worst

Energy say that the situation in the power system is stable and it is not planned to introduce lighting schedules. Nevertheless, in order to avoid electricity deficiency, it is necessary to limit consumption in peak hours. Due to hostilities and bad weather conditions, part of the settlements in 8 regions of Ukraine remains without light. This was reported in the Ministry of Energy.

Most settlements are left without light in the following areas: in addition, due to the deterioration of weather conditions in the Kiev region there are no light in 9 thousand clients, in the Khmelnytsky region - 7 settlements. Also, as a result of hostilities without electricity, 131 settlements in Donetsk region, about 2. 7 thousand subscribers in Kharkiv and more than 6 thousand clients in the Kherson region. The main reason for the lack of electricity is snowstorms and wet snow.

Nevertheless, there is no electricity shortage of electricity, and imports are used to cover all needs. Energy also report the connection of five units of generating equipment. Energy are asking Ukrainians to consume less electricity in peak hours, namely: in the meantime, Ukrenergo reports that there is no critical consequences for the power system as a result of the morning attack. In addition, consumption in the morning of December 8 is slightly lower than the expected.

The reason for this was air alarm and disconnection of part of the settlements due to weather conditions. Energy warn that in the evening, when energy supply will be restored in those settlements where there is no light now, the situation may be complicated. However, the situation in the power system is stable and does not plan electricity shutdown schedules. We will remind, on January 6, energy reported on the enhanced mode of work in Odessa and Kyiv region during January 7-9.
