According to the Prosecutor General, the deputy planned a vacation with a family in the Maldives, knowing about legitimate restrictions on traveling abroad. To do this, he prepared documents stating a deliberately false time in another country. The Prosecutor General reported the suspicion of the People's Deputy of Ukraine on the entry into the official document of deliberately false information. It is reported that in June 2023 the suspect planned a vacation with a family in the Maldives, knowing about legitimate restrictions on traveling abroad. The department also noted that the People's Deputy tried to give the legitimacy of his vacation, providing documents on a business trip for three days in order to deepen bilateral cooperation with the Lithuanian authorities.

The publication states that the documents indicated the inaccurate terms of stay in another country, and the flights to the Maldives Republic was purchased in advance. In addition, while outside Ukraine, the deputy remotely opened the hospital in one of the private hospitals of Kiev. The Attorney General's office also noted that the issue of election of a deputy of a preventive measure is currently being resolved.

Information about the suspicion of the People's Deputy was confirmed in the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine. According to the SBU, the People's Deputy rested in one of the hotels of IThaafushi in Maldives with his wife and children. "According to the materials of the SBU and the DBR, it was reported suspicion of the People's Deputy of Ukraine, who rested in the Maldives during the war," - reported in the department.

The publication does not mention the name of the People's Deputy, but it is stated that it is about the current Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on National Security, Defense and Intelligence. Yuri Aristov now occupies this position. It is reported that during the searches in the house of the SBU deputy found a foreign passport of the accused, which there were marks about the visit of the Maldives.

On Thursday, July 27, Yuri Aristov wrote on his Facebook page that his departure abroad was legally implemented. However, the publication does not mention the visit to the Maldives Republic. "Since I am political and my family's vacation has caused a great resonance, I do not want to create the preconditions for discrediting the President, the Servant of the People and the People of Ukraine. Therefore, I immediately filed a statement of deputy powers at will," Yuri said. Aristov.
