The International Register of Losses caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine has started receiving applications in six new categories

The International Register of Losses caused by aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has started receiving applications in six new categories. This was reported by the Chairman of the Register of the Register Robert Spano during a visit to Kiev.

  Under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal and with the participation of the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Wise, a meeting with a delegation of the Register of losses was held, during which they discussed the expansion of applications and further cooperation.

  Among the new categories are the forced movement of citizens within the country through Russian aggression; causing grievous bodily harm due to the actions of the aggressor; cases of sexual abuse committed by the occupiers; torture, cruel or degrading dignity; illegal holding in captivity; forced labor or service. You can apply applications on the "Action" portal.

  During the meeting, they also discussed the possibility of launching a mechanism for filing applications from legal entities and state bodies, institutions, enterprises that have suffered significant losses. The International Damage Register is the first stage to the international compensation mechanism. The next step will be to start a review commission, which will determine the specific amounts of compensation to the victims.
