The invaders are transporting fuel again with the Crimean bridge - isw

According to analysts, Ukrainian strikes in Russian military and logistics facilities could force Russian troops to change their deployment and transport schemes. Russian occupation troops began to use the Crimean bridge again to transport fuel and for logistics to the occupied Crimea. This is stated in the report of the American Institute of War Study (ISW) of 10 June 2024.

"It is unclear whether the Russian authorities will continue to use the railway bridge through the Kerch Strait for the transportation of fuel and logistics to the occupied Crimea in the near and medium term," the text reads. Analysts have specified that the use of the Crimean bridge would make some logistics restrictions facilitated, as Russia is trying to compensate for the loss of ferries through the strait.

"But that would make the bridge through the Kerch Strait is increasingly vulnerable to Ukrainian blows, especially if Russian air defense of Crimea is decreasing," the ISW said. The specialists of the Institute of War Study referred to the personnel dating from June 8, which show that Russia began to transport fuel through the Kerch Strait through the Railway Bridge.
