Gazprom for 2023 has the highest losses: is the effect of sanctions against Russia (video)

According to political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko, Russia has a "financial pillow", which will be enough for another two years. In addition, the Russian Federation will continue to "trade, that is, there will be current money. " However, he noted that the ruble is still falling. One can distinguish a certain positive effect from the sanctions that the world applies against Russia. They are both temporary and cumulative.

However, sometimes the Russian Federation adapts and begins to circumvent sanctions through third countries or through companies. Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko told this in an interview with focus. According to him, if Russia did not build a system of circumference of sanctions, they could have a better cumulative effect. Vladimir Fesenko stressed that there are some positive changes. As an example, the expert cites the fall of the ruble.

"The reduction of resources is felt," the political scientist says. However, according to the calculations of economists and experts in the Russian economy and the budget, the "financial pillow" in the Russian Federation is about two years. If, however, the aggressor country is "a low intensity war, the money may be enough for a longer period. " In addition, the political scientist noted that Russia will continue to "trade, that is, there will be current money.

" According to Fesenko, the West has been looking for a variant of influence on Russia's oil and gas sector. "They themselves could not and did not want to give up Russian oil and gas. Because it would create problems for them," the message reads. The expert also adds that Russia has reduced the supply of its gas to the markets of Europe as much as possible. "She thought to press on the eve of last winter. Europeans had to look for gas in other markets.

And also through the restructuring of the fuel sector and energy sources. They managed to compensate for this problem," Fesenko stressed. According to him, there is a report that the level of gas pumping into underground storage in Europe is the highest in history. "Russia has lost its European market as a result. They try to sell some of the gas. But China is not required to be so much gas," the expert adds.

In addition, the political scientist noted that Gazprom has the highest losses in recent year. " According to Fesenko, in Europe until the end of last year did not feel sanctions on oil against Russia, as there was a high dependence. "Then they imposed sanctions but imposed an interesting mechanism. It was an experiment, namely the marginal price of $ 60 per barrel," the political scientist said. He noted that such an "experiment" worked for the first half of a year.

Russia's revenues from the sale of oil have declined significantly. "But then Russia has adapted. Many tankers were bought, and more than China and India began to sell more," Fesenko says. However, there was an additional problem - the price of oil. "Therefore, this experiment has given a partial and limited effect. And now they think in the West what the sanction policy should be in oil. They need to look for a more effective mechanism, but they have not found it," the expert assured.
