The FC/ASW program started with the conceptual stage of 2017, and in 2022 it moved to specific developments. From 2023 to the United Kingdom and France, which initiated the project, Italy joined. The project is recognized as a priority: MBDA has attracted an additional 750 specialists to accelerate it. TP15 is a promising winged rocket designed to defeat highly protected goals. Its length is about 5 meters. It is equipped with a new turbojet engine created jointly by Rolls-Royce and Safran.
Like Storm Shadow, the final plot will be done with the help of the thermal imaging head. The key difference is reduced radar visibility due to new form and composite materials. RJ10 is an anti-ship rocket that is created with the use of a direct-flow air-reactive engine (PVRD), which will allow it to develop a speed of 3 to 5 strokes. Although the rocket does not belong to the class of hypersonic, it has considerable potential due to its high speed and low capacity.
A modern active radar head developed jointly by MBDA UK and Thales will be used to guide. And RJ10 is reminiscent of the French nuclear missile ASMP. As for the carriers of new rockets, they must be integrated into: the ground tests are expected until 2026, after which the flight tests will begin. The predictable delivery time is 2029-2031, but within the MBDA is considered the possibility of accelerating the terms by 2028.
