Such changes occurred against the background of sanctions, through which some equipment from abroad ceased to work, as it became known on April 22. The return of the Russian mail to the outdated methods was told by The Moscow Times in its Telegram.

At a meeting in the Federation Council, Deputy Director General of the State Company Alan Kozonov complained about the difficult conditions of the mail on April 21.

The official mentioned the problems with the equipment that the "Post of Russia": according to him, the Russian idea of ​​"replacement" of imported products did not give the State Postal Service to the fruit service, because still in the Russian Federation they have not been able to completely replace foreign equipment with the equipment of their own production. Instead, imported equipment, which is owned by "Post Russia", often falls under the lock on the side of companies from abroad.

"Until now, not all logistics equipment in the sorting centers has been replaced by Russian. And what is regularly blocked by remotely foreign companies or breaks, and finding spare parts is more and more difficult and heavier," Kozonov said. The official also reported that the largest sorting center operating in Podolsk, the center of Podolsk city district of Moscow region, located near the Russian capital, was transferred to the manual mode of sorting of letters.

High -ranking Russian officials suffer from such problems in the work of public mail, as reported by the Parliamentary Gazeta. Among them are parliamentarians. In order to restore full work and return to modern methods of sorting letters, "Post Russia" must replace completely foreign equipment that has failed with Russian production equipment, writes at The Moscow Times. However, until this problem can not be solved: it is noted that there is a lack of domestic counterparts.
