"No expectations": The White House stated that Ukraine and the Russian Federation were not ready for negotiations - the media

White House Advisor John Kirby says that sanctions against the Russian Federation are not a "exchange coin" for future negotiations. According to him, the US government has no expectations that "any of the parties" is ready for the conversation. The negotiations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation should not be expected in the near future, because none of the parties is ready for them.

The White House Advisor to National Security Communications John Kirby said this during a briefing on January 10, Ukrinform correspondents write. John Kirby denied that sanctions against Russia are imposed for future "trading" from the Russian Federation during negotiations on the end of the war. "This was not done with the calculation that it will become a coin that can be taken from the table when Ukraine wants to sit at this table of negotiations.

There is currently no expectation that any party is ready for negotiations," Kirby said. The statement of the White House Advisor was picked up and began to spread Russian propaganda resources. Rejecting some of the both sides, they publish Kirby's quote in the form: "Ukraine is not ready for negotiations with the Russian Federation. " The Russian propaganda TV company Russia Today has also spread the message about "Ukraine's unpreparedness".

The pro -Russian propagandist of Ukrainian descent Anatoly Shariy, whom the Security Service of Ukraine reported about suspicion of the state community, also recovered the message with "Kirby. We will remind, on January 10 the commander of the 3rd OSHBR Maxim Zhorin spoke about a truce from the Russian Federation. He noted that it is not so important whether a truce would take place and when it will be, how Ukraine will come to them and how many more Russians will be able to occupy territories.
