The authors of the rating, the Global Firepower portal, took into account 60 parameters. In particular, the number of personnel and reserve potential, weapons, equipment, army expenditures and even climatic conditions. The "neighbors" of Ukraine in the rating were Israel and Germany. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently 18 in the ranking of the strongest armies of the world. Last year it was 15th. The new rating was made by the Global Firepower portal.

It is noted that 60 parameters were taken into account during the rating. In particular, the authors of the rating recorded the number of personnel and reserve potential, weapons, equipment, expenditures on the army and even climatic conditions. A large number of personnel and a powerful mobilization reserve consider one of the strongest aspects of the Ukrainian Army. In addition to providing the Armed Forces with Western equipment, aviation and air defense systems.

The disadvantage is the lack of a fleet, a lasting war and even the lack of oil reserves in the country. Which armies were up to 20 strongest: the same, Ukraine left behind the Army of Poland, Canada, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and others. The Polish army was in 21st, and Belarus, for example, in 64, Moldova-in 144. The last, 145th in the ranking, was the army of Butan.

The rating countries have large financial expenditures for the army, the availability of nuclear weapons, a large number of personnel and military equipment, a powerful fleet and rich reserves of natural resources. We will remind that earlier Focus wrote that with the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces significantly evolved and is now the strongest army of Europe. This became possible not so much because of the large number of personnel, but its preparation and equipment.
