According to Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, the government also intends to protect distribution substations from Russian drone and rocket attacks with concrete shelters. The relevant projects have already been developed. Ukraine plans to strengthen the protection of electricity distribution systems and generation objects. The country's Prime Minister Denis Shmigal told this today, March 3.

According to the prime minister, Russian troops mostly struck the distribution stations in Ukraine, but also attacked generation objects. According to the head of government, the state plans to implement effective measures that should protect the distribution stations from Russian drone and missile attacks.

In particular, they are planned to be protected with special concrete shelters (shelters) or placing objects underground at a sufficient distance so that neither drones nor rockets can damage them. He stressed that the relevant projects have already been developed, they should be implemented in the near future. "We will do this throughout the year, preparing for the next heating season," Shmigal emphasized. The Ukrainian authorities also hope to protect Ukrainian power plants.
