A serious problem for the Russian army. That has changed in the war - in the air

In fact, rumors about the preparation of "referendums" in Kherson and occupied parts of Zaporizhzhya and Donbass - to access these territories to the Russian Federation. Ukrainians do not see the reasons why they should capitulate, and Zelensky has repeatedly emphasized that in the case of any referendum there will be no negotiations. That is, of course, Washington has just sanctioned with another $ 1 billion arms and equipment, but in fact: the US and other NATO members, as before, are "thinking about thinking" to provide weapons to Ukraine. Sorry, dear Ukrainians: you have to wait, because it is quite in line with the "traditional" way of warfare: to fight for the benefit. And not fight to win the war.

And this means: NATO is busy thinking Putin's reaction, but is primarily re -entered by placing orders for new weapons systems for hundreds of billions of "left and right" - because it provides a profit of their own oligarchy (which, of course, is never called an "average" way, And they are called "private and corporate interests" and are usually sold to the public as "higher national interests").

Accordingly, thousands of old tanks and artillery tools remain in warehouses, and you, Ukrainians, rejoice - and do not forget to thank for every occasion - for a few dozen received. At least an agreement to export Ukrainian wheat works: as far as I know, the last 10 days in Odessa have loaded their cargo seven-eight ships, and at least two more-in the Black Sea.

The first was already approaching Lebanon a few days ago; From three to seven others, Russian inspections in Istanbul were going or going to pass them. In view of all, most often the vessels go from Ukrainian ports to Istanbul in the caravans of 2-3 vessels. Ukraine plans to export about 3 million tons of wheat a month before the end of this year: this has already led to a significant fall in wheat prices.

Interestingly, none of the ships goes to the country where the worst famine and the greatest problems associated with it were such as, say, Ethiopia, Somali . . . Air in the meantime undoubted Winged rockets. That is, they had much less than they claimed Keystone Copes in Moscow (so the author calls the Ministry of Defense of Russia - NB), and they spent almost everyone. This is another illustration of what strategic miscalculation is this war for a fool in the Kremlin.

Clean result: Russians are forced to use everything that can be collected at their factories. It is approximately 4–8 X-101 and approximately 4–8 winged 3m54 caliber missiles-a month (and about the same number of SCKANDER-M ballistic missiles).

The reasons are not only their price or factories: it turned out that all such weapons are very dependent on Western electronics for proper functioning; Details are becoming more difficult to get, and Chinese companies reluctantly supply them because of fear of Western sanctions. Even when the Russians deploy ballistic and winged missiles, the Ukrainian air defense is quite well organized and equipped.

Example: On August 8, all four "calibers", issued by the Black Sea Fleet, were knocked down during the passage of the Odessa district (one interceptor of the Air Force of Ukraine, three - land air defense). Before that, the last blow of the caliber was hit on July 24 (4 rockets, 3 of them were knocked down) and on July 23 (4 missiles, 2 were knocked down; two more kissed on the Odessa port on July 23).

In view of everything, the VCS was spent by the X-22M, which were in working order: I have not heard about their blows for about a month. X-59M is still a problem because they are smaller in size and are often used against the goals closer to the front line, which leaves less time for Ukrainians to respond. Not surprisingly, the VCS returned to one of their demonstration weapons: X-47 Dagger. One of these rockets was directed on August 7 to strike at a military facility in Vinnytsia region.

This rocket dives to a target at a speed of about 12,000 km/h, and Ukrainians, like Russians, as well as the whole measure, do not have a means of protection against such hypersonic weapons. However, as already presented in the name "demonstration weapons": "Dagger" is not in production, is not actually "active" weapons as such. The whole "project" consists of several ballistic missiles OTR-21 "Point", modified for deployment by MiG-31M-primarily for propaganda purposes.

That is why it is known that only two of them participated in hostilities since February 24. Of course, given how few weapons have, which makes it possible to strike a deeper blow in Ukraine, almost certainly the Russians will do everything in their power to prepare several such attacks. At the same time, the mass of Air Force is still limited to two types of operations. The first is the attack on the old good principle of "Pli and pray" with the Su-25-as it is never effective.

Sometimes different experts, even a few professionals who are in the topic, try to state the opposite on social networks. For example, a few days ago, one of these experts explained that the accuracy of "Pli and pray" "similar accuracy BM-21". Of course, "it all depends on the type of warhead used. " And what, navigation is not important, Mr. Red Star? Well, if so, it is quite strange that the Russians managed to capture even two square meters of Ukraine.

Sorry, flying red stars: until the opposite is proven, I prefer to stay in my opinion and conclude that it is useful for only one purpose-to save your back from being not another sample of cargo-200. Another type of VCS Air Force - SEAD (PPP). The SEAD (the air defense) stands for the "suppression of the enemy's air defense" - and I am not very surprised if most of you have heard nothing that the Russians last month had a large -scale SEAD operation against the Ukrainian air defense in the East.

Such operations of the CCS were involved in large connections-more than 20 aircraft, including flying command points IL-20M, SRDLO A-50 (Russian "DLLO"), planes The containers of the IE, SU-35, armed X-58, and Su-34, armed X-59M. Day by day. As far as I can judge, all efforts ended in a great failure: they almost did not hit anywhere, and the Ukrainian air defense along the front line remained intact.

Not that it was "enough" or they would "knock down everything that happens in the way", but the CCS still has no freedom of action over the front line. This spoils all the efforts of Russia in Ukraine. In addition, very strongly. Moreover, it is the Russian land air defense under high pressure. Quite often: has serious problems.

In the middle and at the end of July, we saw how the Russians tried to protect their advanced headquarters and warehouses with the help of a combination of systems such as S-300, C-350, C-400, Buk, Thor and Armory. It turned out that Wunderwaffen S-300 and S-400 were largely in vain because Ukrainians regularly suppressed them. Each S-300 Division (or SPR on a military jargon) has only one fire/lighting control of 30n6e and can simultaneously hit only 6 goals.

Every time Ukrainians united, say, 6 M32A1 missiles with one of their launching installations M142 Himars with 1-2–3 (or more) other missiles, they have a problem with all the goals that occur on their journey. The C-400 is a little better, but suffers from very limited reserves of 9m96dm missiles with active radar. Indeed, the majority of anti-aircraft missile complexes C-400 stationed in Ukraine are only equipped with semi-active headlight heads 48H6DM.

Using in contact with many goals simultaneously slows down the response time and thus reduces the effective range of lesions. That is, depending on the type of rocket they are equipped-C-300 and C-400 have a claimed range of 70, 125, 300 or even 400 km-they can rarely detect goals approaching at 30 km away and rarely attack , until the range falls to 20 km. In fact, interception usually occurs at 12-15 km. This leaves very little time to continue intercepting additional missiles.

That is why the C-350 is becoming increasingly important: it is first and foremost equipped with 9M317ma missiles with active radar homing. This gives the system a few additional seconds for interception, and in such a war every second on the account. However, weaponed in Russia S-350 is not enough . . . Probably because the Putin joint-stock system has appropriated too much money intended for their further development and acquisition.

Another system that works better than expected should be "Beech M3": the SPRs operating it usually consist of six fire units and can simultaneously monitor and strike 36 goals: it is extremely necessary . . . They say that on July 25, one of them is met with 28 rockets (Russians claim to be M31A1) - at the same time. Ironically, no one can say how many of these rockets have been shot.

Please note that it was before the Ukrainians put into operation AGM-88 Harm (Harm means High-Speed ​​Anti-Radar Missile) of American production. It is said that in one day they failed three RLS 30N6E (ie, they disabled three S-300 SPRs) and one "shell"-apparently in the Kherson area. Theoretically, evasion of an anti -radiolocating missile may seem like a "simple business": in the end, they are given to radar radar they are targeted.

Thus, in the late 1960s and during the 1970s it was "simple": when you are attacked by anti-radios, turn off your radar, turn the antenna in the opposite direction, and the rocket will miss. In practice and in the early 21st century, this no longer works. The latest AGM-88C and AGM-88D models also have a GPS receiver and-in case of switching off the enemy radar-can memorize its position or strike in predetermined coordinates.

It is unclear now that Ukrainians unfold their AGM-88: from their only MiG-29MU2 (as far as I know, the only plane in the Air Force of Ukraine, equipped with a MIL-STD-553 data bus necessary for compatibility with Western weapons)-perhaps, also for also by the an/ASQ-213a HTS container or in some grounding base (proposed Lockheed-Martin many years ago).

The latter will need to install the accelerator to start the rocket and accelerate it to a certain speed so that it has a significant flight range.

One way or another, it cannot be deny that the emergence of such an effective anti -radiological missile in the Ukrainian arsenal is indeed a "serious problem" for the Russians, because they first face such weapons in battle, and practically do not imagine how to handle it (because they systematically ignored it All this has been associated with the experience of hostilities over the last 20 years), and now they need to find a solution to protect their radars from Harm.
