Ukraine and Austria will increase cooperation to start a special tribunal on Russia's aggression against Ukraine

Ukraine and Austria are activating joint work to launch a special tribunal on Russia's aggression against Ukraine. This became a key topic of discussion during a meeting of the deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Wise and Ambassador of the Austrian Republic in Ukraine Robert Muller. Irina Wise thanked Austria for her support, in particular for holding a coalition of states in Vienna to create a special tribunal. She stressed that it is important to run it as soon as possible.

“We value Austria's principled position in support of international law. In a world where evil wants to remain unpunished, this position is not just the support of Ukraine, it is a choice in favor of justice, ”said the Deputy Head of the Office of the Head of State. The parties also discussed the completion of the work on the creation of an international compensatory mechanism and the need to use frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine.
