According to journalists, from the fall of 2023 representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation several times have been in a colony near St. Petersburg. The Russians were offered a contract for a year. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation recruits to the war in Ukraine convicted in the women's correctional colony №2 in Leningrad region.

About it reports the edition "Important History" with reference to the story of the former prisoners of the correctional colony in the village of Ulyanovka. Journalists explained that their interlocutors received news from their friends in prison. The names of two women who agreed to participate in the war have already been established. This was confirmed by their loved ones.

It is reported that from the fall of 2023 representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have been in the colony several times. The Russians were offered a contract for a year, among other things, they were looking for new snipers and storms. Prior to the advancement, it was suggested to be trained within two months, after the end of the contract - a pardon. Approximately 20-50 women agreed to such conditions. But so far they remain in the colony.

One of the convicts decided to go through training as a sniper. But she had to wait about three months, and she refused. According to her, she believed that she would quickly be on the front, but now she has to serve in prison for less than a year. One of the women, according to journalists, tried to give her friends during a telephone conversation. She explained that men do not survive in the shelling, because in most cases the convicts are "cannon meat". But women are not eager to get pardon.
