Defenders use Maxima machine guns to combat Iranian drones-Kamikadze

30,000 Maxima machine guns were disconnected in the Ukrainian army - the power of Terroboron

Defenders use Maxima machine guns to combat Iranian drones-Kamikadze "Shahaned". With water cooling, they can continuously fire for a few minutes. Since the beginning of a full -scale war in Ukraine, 30,000 Maxima machine guns have been removed from the storage. This was reported by territorial defense forces in X (earlier Twitter).

Maxima's machine gun was developed more than 100 years ago, but in the forces of terroborons it is noted that it has water cooling, so it is effective for the fight against Drone-Kamikadze "Shahaned". "Vintage weapons with water cooling have proven a high efficiency at the forefront of air defense against Shahhed drones due to the ability to fire for several minutes in a row," the publication said. Maxima machine gun was developed by British gunman Gairam Stevens Maxim in 1883.

It became one of the founders of automatic weapons and was used in the First and Second World Wars. In the Russian-Ukrainian war, the Maxima machine gun is used in mobile air defense groups. Previously, there were pictures of machine guns on the roofs of buildings. We will remind, on March 6 in the Armed Forces showed how the 100-year machine gun "Maxim" was processed for use of infantry. It was removed from the machine, the birds were installed and the optical sight was added.
