Shakhda is beating in substations: the Armed Forces want to create a collapse on the railways of Ukraine - Kuleba

To spread: the Russian army aims at the railway infrastructure of Ukraine: on the night of September 17, the invaders wanted to disable the substations that feed the railway network. Shahaned drones on the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia were difficult to complicate the transportation of passengers and cargoes, the disruption of stable transportation of transport and the creation of additional pressure on people and the economy.

This was reported by Viceremier-Minister for Recovery, Minister of Community and Territories Development Alexei Kuleb. At the time of attack, there were more than 20 passenger trains on the routes. The Ukrzaliznytsia dispatchers stopped them at a safe distance, and the workers were taken to shelter. "The most important thing is that there are no victims among passengers and railways. As of 8:00 am, 26 trains were delayed for more than an hour," he said.

Ukrzaliznytsia has used more than 20 backup locomotives so as not to stop the movement. In the disconnected areas where there is no power supply to the alarm and communication devices, trains are still passed in a backup format to reduce delay. The director of the passenger company "Ukrzaliznytsia" Oleksadr Shevchenko said that if the train was stopped for a while, then the railways keep a safe distance from the area of the lesion and coordinate with the services on the ground.

The following suburban trains will not be able to run temporarily: the train route №6642 is limited, it will run on the route "Mironovka - Tsvitkov" instead of "Mironovka - named after TG Shevchenko". For international flights to Poland, transplants in the cities of Helm and Przemysl are organized. "Even such massive attacks will not stop the Ukrainian transport arteries and the Ukrainian railway," - summed up Alexei Kuleba.

It should be noted that the massive blow to "Shahaneda" led to delay of trains in the Dnieper and Odessa directions. Railway objects in Cherkasy region were damaged. We will remind, in the Kiev region ammunition exploded near the train "Kharkiv-Peremicl", which had passengers. Rescuers evacuated 240 people. From September 12, direct passenger trains to Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest have launched from Uzhgorod thanks to the new railway section and the Euly Standard tracks 1435 mm.
