The unsuccessful "pass-1" does not stop the Russian Federation: "Rostekh" plans to create an unmanned BMR-3ma "boar"

The analysts of the Defense Express portal have noted that work on the "Prokhod-1" complex has been underway for 8 years. In 2022, the invaders even stated that they used it in Ukraine. The Russian corporation "Rostekh" posted a video where the combat vehicle of the BMR-3ma "Vepr", developed at "Uralvagonzavod", performs tasks on the territory of the so-called "DNR".

The footage shows how the machine paves the path through the minefields, wide enough for the passage of armored and civilian equipment. "Vepr" is equipped with a protective design of the type "barbecue", which helps to counteract the attacks of drones. Rostech also noted that the machine has enhanced protection, including dynamic.

The corporation was added to consider creating an unmanned version of the complex and noted that they already have experience in the development of a robotic sapper based on a multifunctional loader who was allegedly successfully protested. At the same time, the Analysts of the Defense Express portal noted that Rostekh did not mention the existence of the "Prokhod-1" complex, which has been developed since 2016 under the guidance of the Russian Research Institute "Signal".

It is based on the same platform BMR-3M "Vepr" and is equipped with systems of remote control, in particular cameras and communications. The complex uses TMT-C Trall to mine. Interestingly, in July 2022, Russia declared the use of "passage-1" on the front, but from the published videos it was evident that TMT-C Trall was constantly detached from the ground, which probably indicates technical problems with the smooth course of the robotic version machinery.
