"Secret Data": The Ministry of Defense is asked not to disclose information about the losses of the Armed Forces

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar, information about the loss of the Ukrainian army is a state secret. It is dangerous to disclose data as Russia can use it in its favor and calculate Kyiv's further actions. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar commented on information about the loss of Ukrainian troops, which occurs periodically in the Western media. The painter reported on Telegram.

"From time to time in foreign media there is information about the alleged number of our dead. Therefore, I will explain the situation again. During martial law, this information is state secret. Not because someone wants to hide, but because it is a requirement of the military. Why this data is The secret? Because during the active phase of the war, the death and wounded enemy uses to calculate our possible further actions, "the Deputy Minister of Defense wrote.

The painter added that in military affairs certain actions depend on the percentage of dead and wounded in the total number of servicemen. If these figures are known to the enemy, it can calculate the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in advance. And it is not only about the total number of killed and wounded, but also about the number of losses of specific units and directions. "Information on the total number of killed and wounded during martial law is the State Security Service.

Access to this information has a very limited number of persons who are duly warned of criminal responsibility for disclosure," - said Malyar. We will remind, on August 19 the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at the Center of Chernihiv. Probably a blow was caused by a ballistic missile. The projectile hit the Drama Theater, where the drone exhibition took place that day.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko reported that 7 people were killed as a result of shelling, 90 were injured. In addition to civilians, 10 police officers have applied for medical care. The organizer of the exhibition in the Drama Theater, Volunteer Maria Berlinskaya reported that during the alarm, the event was interrupted, and the participants announced the need to go down into the shelter.
