Schedules do not work: in a number of regions of Ukraine, emergency blackouts were introduced after the Russian attack

Share: The Russians once again combinedly attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in a number of regions, due to which emergency blackouts were introduced in the regions. Due to this, the schedules of fan power outages to stabilize the situation, introduced the day before, cease to be effective. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk on her Facebook page on the night of November 8.

"The enemy is again massively attacking the energy infrastructure of Ukraine. Due to this, emergency power cuts have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine," the official said. Emergency shutdowns in Ukraine will be canceled when the situation in the energy system is stabilized, Grynchuk added.

Rescue workers and energy workers will work to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure as soon as the security situation allows, as the air alert continues in the regions due to the threat of repeated strikes by the Russian Armed Forces. Before that, Ukrenergo was instructed to introduce emergency blackout schedules in a number of regions, as reported on the DTEK website.

According to information from DTEK, emergency shutdowns are currently implemented in the following areas: The department emphasized that schedules do not work during emergency shutdowns. Citizens are urged to consume electricity wisely in order to contribute to the stabilization of the situation in the energy system of Ukraine. We will remind you that on the night of November 8, the Russians attacked Ukraine twice with aeroballistic missiles of the Dagger type.
