The Ministry of Defense complains of Bezrukov: a scandal with AOP head and Umerov in the midst of war is gaining momentum

The scandal around the Defense Ministry and the Defense Agency (AOP) is ongoing. Rustem Umerov removed Marina Bezrukov from the AOP leadership, and in response to NABU opened a case of abuse of power. Focus mentions the timeline of the conflict and tells what is happening around defense purchases. The scandal with the appointment of a new head of the Defense Procurement Agency (AOP) is ongoing.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine complained to the Ministry of Justice due to changes in the head of the agency in the State Register. The private notary, according to the Ministry, indicated on January 29 the current head of the ATZ not the head of the state operator of the rear (DOT) Arsen Zhumadilov, but Marina Bezrukov. The Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov has dismissed the latter from office at the time of the official investigation.

The Defense Ministry believes that the decision to change the head was made in violation of the requirements of the legislation and the statute of the enterprise. The Ministry of Justice promises to consider the complaint in accordance with the procedure established by law. Disputes over the appointment of the head of the ATZ have been ongoing from January 24, when the Supervisory Board of the ATZ continued the contract with the current director of Bezruk.

Umerov did not pay attention to this decision, and Bezrukova stated that he continued to be the head of the ATZ. Focus wrote earlier how Umerov was in the center of scandals on personnel decisions and transparency of military procurement. The Minister dismissed his deputy Dmitry Klimenkov and decided to change the leadership of the ATZ.

He did not continue the contract with Bezruk and dismissed two members of the Supervisory Board, who supported her candidacy: the director of the Foundation "Return the Living" Taras Chmut and former Deputy Minister of Defense Yuri Dzigir. He argued his decision by the fact that the process of purchasing weapons should be closed during martial law. But for an unknown reason, they "turned into" Amazon ": every Internet user can see who and what buys, in what volumes and in what manufacturers.

" Center for Combating Corruption "(CPC) began to actively act: National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) He registered on the statement of the CPC proceedings against Umerov, seeing in his actions the signs of abuse of power. "The minister clearly showed that these people can point to the door at any time," the politician said. Work in the Dota and at the same time works with Bezrukova. Currently, Marina Bezrukov is not going out of office, but only removed from his duties, he noted.
