The ZMZ-523 gasoline engine was installed on the PAZ-3205 buses and GAZ-3308 trucks. The fact is that the lack of import components does not allow to produce modern power units. ZMZ-523 will be available for both new transport and in the secondary market.

With a working volume of 4. 7 liters it develops only 124 hp. and 298 N ∙ m. For all, representatives of the Volvovsky Motor Plant claim that V8 "has good dynamic characteristics on commercial transport. " For its parameters, the engine has a high fuel consumption-22-30 l/100 km.
