As it is noted, the new term in the vocabulary of the propagandists was the "blow of the Vazdia" - massive blows on the infrastructure of Ukraine they attach to such events as undermining the Crimean bridge or explosions at aerodromes under Saratov and Ryazan. However, it has been proven that massive attacks are not planned and quickly - the Russian army takes at least 7 days to prepare the launch of dozens of missiles.
In addition, misinformation concerned many aspects of light shutdowns in Ukraine. In particular, the propagandists spread the fake that at night everyone needs to turn off the electrics, because they would "jump" the voltage. In this way, they wanted to imbalance the power system.
They also distributed false reports of emergency shutdowns and even launched flash mobs under the hashtag #Lightonzelenskyyoff, where they called on the appointed day to turn on the light to resist the "betrayal" of the authorities. In addition, the discrediting of power is one of the most active areas of Russian narratives, because they know how sensitive this topic is for Ukrainians.
Thus, more to adjust Ukrainians against the authorities had reported that Ukraine sells electricity abroad, in particular in Moldova. Such a fake arose after the light began to disappear not only in Ukraine, but also in the part of Moldova at the same time. This can be explained by the fact that two countries are in a single block of regulation. This means that the systems of Moldova and Ukraine are interconnected six times stronger than, for example, Moldova with Romania.
Russian propaganda uses blackouts to ignite protest moods. First, they divide Ukraine into regions, in particular, rumors that there is no light in Odessa because it was "given" in Lviv. Secondly, even at the local level they push Ukrainians to protest. On November 30, in Kiev, people blocked the road in protest that operate trams, and there is no electricity in homes.
In all cases, the accusations go towards the authorities, because it seems to have "fallen" the situation, and now suppresses dissatisfaction. Voltage Group's governing partner Vitaliy Nikolaenko explained that there is no point in blaming someone in the country of lack of electricity. Although the oligarchs are really owned by some power companies (which reasonably reduces their trust), all energy is currently working around the clock to provide Ukrainians with electricity.
Nikolaenko also explained how emergency shutdowns occur. "The hourly and emergency shutdowns performed by the power companion - it is not their decision or Zabozhan . . . Only the CAP dispatcher sees the whole real situation in the power system and gives the command of the power point and the generating stations to do. And the schedule of emergency shutdowns is used in case of urgent need electricity, "he emphasized.
According to him, the structure of electrical networks is built so that neighboring houses can have power from different lines and even different substations that have different queues of shutdowns. In addition, it is not possible to arrange the perfect distribution of light by the number of hours, but serious violations and manipulations will be checked. It is difficult to predict the further situation because it is unique.
It can be said for sure that full and long blackouts throughout the country are possible only with nuclear stroke. The renewal of the power system, for its part, will be expensive and will take time. A priority supply plan for electricity has already been proposed-critical infrastructure and hospitals are the first positions, then-enterprises and facilities of the military-industrial complex, hereinafter referred to as the production of critical goods and after them the residential sector.
