Responds to the UN Charter: Biden told whether the United States continue to fire Yemen

According to the US President, his country is ready to take further measures to eliminate threats and attacks by Hussites. US President Joe Biden has stated that Hussite's attacks in Yemen are in line with international law and UN Charter. He wrote about it in a letter to the heads of both houses of Congress. The letter was published on the White House website.

According to Baiden, since November 2023, the Yemeni Hutivitsa made a series of attacks on the United States' armed forces, including ships and planes, as well as on maritime commercial vessels operating in the Red Sea, the Bab-el-Mandebsk Strait and the Gulf. He noted that the actions of Hussites pose a threat to the security of the US Armed Forces, for commercial ships and their crews, and also adversely affect regional political and economic instability.

Biden stated that on January 9, 2024, Hutivita had a major attack in the Red Sea, using unmanned aircraft, anti -ship winged missiles and ballistic missiles. As early as January 10, the UN Council approved a resolution demanding that Hussites stop all the attacks immediately.

"On January 11, 2024, by my instruction of the United States, as part of a multinational operation, together with the United Kingdom with the support of Australia, Bahrain, Canada and the Netherlands, struck objects in Yemen," Biden wrote. According to the US President, the strikes were struck on the starting complexes and storage sites of UAVs and missiles.

"I was in charge of blows to protect and protect our staff and assets, to reduce and violate the ability of Hussite fighters to carry out future attacks on United States and vessels operating in the Red Sea," Biden said. The American leader noted that he is obliged to protect the US citizens at home and abroad to promote the interests of his country's security. The actions taken against Hussites correspond to international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter.
