According to the accusation on March 6, 2022, the deputy commander of the military unit of the 6th Army of the Russian Cabinet of accordance with the Russian Federation, managing the Su-34 combat aircraft, dropped eight bombs with a total weight of 2. 5 tons in TNT in Kharkiv. The blow of the tower and the administrative building of the TV was damaged. The fighters of the National Guard knocked down a hostile plane, the pilot was catapult, but it was detained.
On the basis of the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, the court found it guilty under Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Violation of the laws and customs of war"). The Prosecutor General's office explained that RTPS is a civilian object and is not a military purpose, since the activity of the station is connected solely with the provision of services for the civilian population.
